§01The company

A perps exchange that funds its own traders.

Vest runs two products off one engine. Vest Exchange is a perpetual futures venue for indices, stocks, crypto, FX and commodities. Vest Capital is the prop program on top of it: buy an evaluation or an Instant account, trade the same interface, keep up to 95%.
Backers

Jane Street, Coinbase Ventures, Amber Group, QCP Capital, Selini Capital, plus executives from Citadel, UBS and HRT.

Money rails

Deposits and withdrawals in USDC on Base, Coinbase's L2. Fast, cheap, and your wallet is the bank.

Scale

Roughly 27,000 traders and a reported new raise in October 2026 on top of earlier seed rounds.

§02Programs & prices

Three doors. Pick by temperament.

Every evaluation shares the same 6% static floor. What changes is how many targets you hit, what you pay, and how much of the profit you keep.

Two targets instead of one, at well under half the price of the 1-Step. If you don't mind passing twice, this is the value play.

§03The drawdown

The floor doesn't follow you up.

Most futures props trail your high-water mark, so every winning day tightens the noose. Vest fixes the floor the moment you buy and leaves it there. Same trades, very different breathing room.
Equity Vest static floor Typical trailing floor
$23K$24K$25K$26K$27K$2,700 roomD1D2D3D4D5D6D7D8
$2,700

Room left on Vest after a $1,200 winning run. The $23,500 floor never moved.

$700

Room left on a trailing-drawdown account with the same trades. The floor chased the peak.

01

Measured on equity

Open losses count. A wick through the floor closes the account even if price snaps back a minute later.

02

Daily limit resets 8 PM ET

The 3% or 4% daily limit is based on your 8:00 PM ET balance and stays live overnight and through weekends.

03

Hard breach

No warning, no grace period. Fees and funding also draw against your limits.

§04Markets & leverage

ES and NQ, without touching the CME.

One cross-margin account covers indices, single stocks, ETFs, crypto, FX and commodities. No contract caps — size is equity times leverage. Index perps trade in units: 5 ES units equal one MES, 2 NQ units equal one MNQ.

Max leverage · funded

  • ES · S&P 50075x
  • NQ · Nasdaq 10050x
  • BTC, ETH15x
  • Gold, silver, crude, most stocks5–10x
  • FX majors, other crypto5x

Leverage is a ceiling, not a target. A full NQ-equivalent can erase a $25K floor on an ordinary move.

Read before you buy

Vest's own docs describe live accounts as real capital, while the September 2026 prop terms describe the program as simulated. The exchange also logged pricing incidents in April and June 2026 — affected accounts were restored or compensated. Vest's perp price can drift from CME during thin overnight sessions. §09FAQ

Questions traders actually ask.

Is Vest Markets legit?

Vest is a funded company with named institutional investors, including Jane Street and Coinbase Ventures, and traders report receiving USDC payouts. It is also young, operates its prop terms out of Panama, and isn't overseen by a financial regulator. Start small and claim profits regularly.

Does Vest Capital use a trailing drawdown?

No. The max loss is fixed at 6% of the starting balance on evaluations (2–4% on Instant) and never moves. It is measured on equity, so open losses count toward it.

How do deposits and withdrawals work?

Everything runs in USDC. Fund your account with USDC on Base, claim profits from a funded account (credited within 24 hours), then withdraw USDC to your own wallet. To get dollars in a bank, send the USDC to an exchange like Coinbase and sell it.

Can I trade ES and NQ?

Yes, as perpetual futures that track the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100. They are not CME contracts: no expiry, sized in units (5 ES units = 1 MES, 2 NQ units = 1 MNQ), and funding settles hourly.

Is there a consistency rule or minimum trading days?

No consistency rule, no minimum days and no time limit on any evaluation.

Can I use bots, EAs or a trade copier?

No. API trading, bots and third-party copiers are not allowed on evaluation or funded accounts. Manual scalping and news trading are fine.

How many accounts can I run?

Up to 10 live funded accounts at once (Instant included) and up to 100 evaluations. Ten $25K accounts puts the ceiling at $250K.

Which countries can't join?

The prop terms list China (including Hong Kong and Macao), Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Russia and Syria. KYC is required, and using a VPN to get around restrictions is prohibited.

Can I get a refund?

Only if you haven't placed a trade. The FAQ and the terms disagree on the window (28 days vs 3 days), so treat it as 3 days.
